Tuesday May 24: Under the "leadership" of Mayor Beverly O'Neil, the Long Beach City Council cowered from hearing the LNG agenda item and put it off until Tuesday June 21. Half the council chambers were full of fire fighters who applauded vigorously when one of our members spoke out against LNG in the open remarks section of the meeting. We need to keep up the pressure to STOP LNG. See what to do next on May 25, Noon Pacific Time.
