STREET FAIR
10:30am to 1:30pm
Sixth Street
Between Pacific and Mesa, in San Pedro.
Come hear solar-powered, live music and learn about renewable energy
and conservation at the Power Play Street Fair.
Simple decisions you make in your everyday life can help save fossil fuels, cut our dependence on foreign oil, and move us to a sustainable future that can last a million tomorrows.
Solar energy vendors, environmental, peace and human rights groups will set up exhibits and give presentations that can help you live a more earth-friendly life.
Sixth Street is in the heart of old, downtown San Pedro—an independent city until it became part of Los Angeles in 1909. Most of the businesses are unique, locally-owned establishments, including art galleries, restaurants, an independent coffee house, gift and retail shops—all in walking distance.
Return again on May 12 when we announce details about the Power
Play Street Fair.
